54 deg wedge starting to rust

My 54 deg wedge that I bought a few months ago is already starting to rust on the face. Is this normal or do I already need a new one? None of my other clubs that I bought around the same time are rusting like this.

Some clubs are actually designed to rust a little.

It gives more grip/spin.

Did you get a raw finish wedge by mistake?

Rust is good. I actually prefer my wedges to rust

You proabably bought a raw wedge without realizing it. Brass brush and soak it in vinegar if it bothers you.

I’m assuming since it took 2 months that it is a chrome wedge and the finish has worn. Usually from hitting balls with a dirty/sandy clubface. Making sure the clubface is clean will help them last a longer.

It will rust. It's designed to. Embrace it.
