There are a few things I'll be working on...

1) Bettering my driver swing to increase distance and FIR. Currently averaging 262yds off the tee and hitting 48% of fairways. I lose 2.1 strokes per round due to driving and want to reduce that.

2) Improve consistency with my approach shots. I only hit 40% GIR. This may come down to better club selection since 34% of the time I come up short and need to chip... or it may be inconsistent ball striking.

3) Get a better feel with my putter. I average 31 putts per round and pick up 0.1 strokes per round... but I just want to feel like I am putting better.

4) Walk more... especially in the spring and fall when the risk of a heat stroke death is not as high.

Try some different drivers. I went from spraying and praying to center cut 85% of the time with a different driver.

Damn bro, you should set a goal to not worry so much about analytics.

That’s a whole lot of stats to be flying around your head

As a + handicap you should set your goals a little higher

Even par or better round. Last year I had a +2 and multiple +3 rounds. Just looking to put it all together one time this year.

1) Play more. I've been playing for 3-4 years, but only 10-15 times a year. Played 19 times in 2021. Already played 4 times in 2022, so off to a good start there!
2) Practice more also.
3) Getting my 6yr old daughter signed for First Tee Camp so she can come play with me
4) Better consistency with Driver
5) Less 3 putting
6) Break into the 80s. With practicing and playing more I hope to earn some significant progression this year. My typical score is right around 100 give or take a few.

I don't hunt, and rarely fish, so Golf & bourbon are my vices. Overall I'm looking to dive deeper into golf this year, take it more seriously, and play and practice often to actually get better. I'm also starting to track my handicap, as well as average distances and # of putts and things like that so that I can actually gauge what's working and what's not

Finding some kind of consistency with my driver. I know hitting X percent of fairways is a long shot. I just want my misses to be smaller misses. It is costing me 6 to 7 shots a round. Shot 87 at the island 3 weeks ago and had 3 doubles on the last 4 holes because of drives in the hazards

Apologies for delay in responding... life gets in the way sometimes...

I use the Arccos Caddie system. I have been using it for a little more than 2 years now. The biggest help I have found is that after playing only a few times a year while I raised my kids... I don't hit the ball as far as I used to when I played 6 days a week.

Since using the Arccos system and learning more about my current game, I have dropped my HCP from a 14.2 to a 6.1 in two years. I'm pleased with that.
