Excellent slo-motion camera work on Bryson hitting a iron shot .
I know he plays extremely stiff shafts in his irons. The way that shaft bent and wiggled after he hit the ball was impressive.

a friend gave me a set of zx 5's to hit...big guy with huge hands...super stiff shaft with huge oversized grips...
when I hit them is was like swinging a truck axle...

I played golf with Otis Thorpe one day.
His irons were 2 inches long with green Victory oversized grips with 5 wraps of tape.
It was like swinging a sledgehammer.

If a shot rolled off the green it prolly wasn’t a good golf shot. Might’ve been almost a good golf shot. In my opinion that’s why this is the best major test. Separates the almost good from good. You have to be in complete control of your golf ball out there coming into the right areas of greens at the right angle, with the right shape, with the right spin. Not just hit wedges at pins
