Adam Scott will pair with Jason Day and Tommy Fleetwood will pair with Sergio.

Really like the way Fleetwood plays. Might be following him on Thursday

The guy who's bitched the most about slow play and arguably the slowest and most unapologetic slow player on TOUR. I hope things get real

Adam Scott has bitched all year about slow play. JDay is extremely slow and has said he's not going to speed up.

I have literally never heard a complaint about Jason Day being slow. Golf is a sport where news travels fast, especially about slowness. Care to link an article regarding Day's slow play? I follow golf regularly and have never heard about Day.

Yeah about 3 years ago.

Clearly not

Jason Day on slow play reputation: ‘I don’t really care what people say’

You could've just googled it or hell, just watch him stand behind the ball for 30 seconds with his eyes closed before every shot

My goodness the golf board has shown its ignorance today

It’s been discussed in the media but for whatever reason the media seems to give him more of a pass than guys like JB Holmes or Dechambeau

Na, Crane, J.B., Bryson, Ive heard players complain quite a few times about all of them. Day is right, it is normal to take things a little bit slower when in contention on a Sunday. But I wouldn’t imagine him being on the same level as the players I stated. It never crossed my mind that Day is a slow player when watching him play when either leading or in the hunt and I hate slow play with a passion.

He's legit one of the worst. He loves playing pro ams because he says he's able to take his time. JB's is probably the most infuriating because of the plumb bobbing and lack of doing what he needs to do as someone else is hitting their shot, but Day is really slow.

Here's a comment from an article in Golf Digest in 2017:
quote:

Speaking in Hawaii before this week's Tournament of Champions, Day mentioned that he plans on taking his time during shots this season.

"Obviously that's a big subject in golf, to speed up the game," the World No. 1 said. "In my opinion, I don't care so much about speeding up my game. I've got to get back to what makes me good. If that means I have to back off five times, then I'm going to back off five times before I have to actually hit the shot.

Jason Day probably starts his period around that time. He’ll likely withdraw after the first round
