I think the arch is dumb.. but thats always one. Anheuser busch tour is enjoyable. Honestly Im not sure whats considered touristy for others for all things stl. An area I forgot it the Hill. This mainly is for food, the best food in st louis hands down. Its an Italian neighborhood. A few on tour are expected to eat there this week. They also have a few good bars. I mention this because the Hill is one of our tourist attraction. Also a tour of busch stadium may be something to look in to.
For me, I think seeing some of our bigger breweries is an attraction too
Also plenty of golf courses. But I have a feeling their all going to be PACKED

If you don't mind a 35-40 minute drive, the top golf just opened up in Chesterfield valley.
Brewery tour is always cool, not as long and good as it used to be, but still get the free beer.
And you can never go wrong with:
The party places dried up, when they killed the landing. Casinos close, but watch parking in Lumiere parking garage.

If you go to broadway oyster bar, try the
It is really good, good appetizer for 3-4 people. Very rich, but really good.

I’m staying out by the airport and I’ll be there Saturday and Sunday.
Do you have recommendations for food after the tournament that is close? Hopefully can get an Uber haha
I already have plans to go to Granite City Food and Brewery on Saturday night (Hopefully that will be good).
TIA

for you, Id look into main street st Charles. Tons of bars, restaurants, casinos and shopping there. Also look into west port plaza, few places there too. You're sorta out there, not tons to do, but if you're willing to uber 15-20 that'll change. Also if you're by the airport, dont walk around. not a good area.
But really, nothing around the airport because its a bad area. Look on google maps, stay left of 67 until you get like 10 min south, then dont worry.

If your looking for a place near golf course, Cheesecake is about 10-15minutes away. They also have a PF changs(free appetizer with Mark Davis haircut),etc by the mall in chesterfield.

Do they always bus in the people for the golf events? Or only the majors? It's an easy way to keep traffic around the event clear. Lock it down, and bus them 100ish yards away from event.
They are busing people from all kinds of places.
Even the South Dakota St team bus is shuttling people back and forth from the Old Chrysler plant.
A lot of people watching the practice rounds, those big buses are coming and going nonstop from like 5-7 places.

Guy in town, who is/has been going since Monday told me that they are having huge crowds, he said there might be more people here for the practice rounds than you see on Sundays.
Wish i was a lyft or uber driver, they are making a killing this week. Everyone is using them to go everywhere, not just 2 the course. Every meal, trip, etc. People said f the rental cars.

ya these practice round attendance is amazing. Players have said a few times this is unheard of.
Was going tomorrow, but sold them for well over 2x. Couldn't pay me enough to sell my Sundays tho!

Yea I saw the airport was by Ferguson and I got a good laugh out of that. Won’t be doing anything near there that’s why I was looking for options around the course. Thanks for the info.
My plan is to take an Uber each day to the drop zone and then take the shuttle to the course.
The Uber station at the Waste Management Open was the best I’ve ever seen, so let’s hope this is just as good

not an ideal first hole from mr woods. needs a loooooooooong putt to save par.
1st hole: 508 yrd par 4 with dog leg left, and low hanging tree. brutal but fun to watch.

Gotdamn PGA App with no airplay option and screen mirroring is small as shite. PGA is a poor mans major. They should take notes from The Masters

Anyone else having issues with the PGA's streaming site?

Media sensationalized how bad the greens are. Just like I said, they'd do work this week to make them roll true if not a little slower. A story? Yes. A big deal? No.

Greens dont even look that bad, and they seem to be rolling great
