If you over water, they burn. If you under water, they burn. Bentgrass isn't made for these hot climates.

Bentgrass greens where they will have to water heavily nights before. Morning waves will putt better than evening. Bentgrass in the summer rarely look good.

could be a good recipe for Rickie to make a run.
I was just thinking how Rickie is getting back to Pre-Players and Deutcshe Bank 2015 level. Just hanging around but not really being in contention on Sunday.
Tiger has essentially had Rickie's average year on tour this year.

Is Winston Cup doing a pick'em like he has the last three majors?

You do know that you can syringe the greens right? It can be hand watered while people are on the course.
ETA
It will play very soft especially on approach shots due to watering and it appears the PGA has told players greens will be a different speed starting on thursday.

JT, Rory, DJ. I can see any of those 3 running away with it. Still picking Tiger though

If the greens are not going to be perfect I could see Rory or DJ. Neither are world beaters with the flat blade, but crappy greens could even it up for those guys.

Where does this narrative come from that DJ is a poor putter? He’s 14th in SG putting and 8th in putts per round

They said they aren’t cutting down til Thursday morning. The GCSAA or whatever it’s name said for the championship they will cut at .125. They are probably cutting around .135-.145 now. So add to the hot climate more stress right before first tee. People will complain on how it looks but it’s a major. They won’t be bad to putt on.

Good, don't feel bad for the guys at all. I don't care if it is a major, it won't hurt them to play on greens we have to deal with.

this is coming from a 28 y/o who likes to have a good time, hope it relates well.
Downtown you have four drinking options.
1) broadway oyster bar, blast any time of the day.
2) 360 rooftop bar(best view and highly ranked rooftop bar)
3) Wheelhouse and Tin roof. both of these should be your nigh capper. both club/popular spots.
Soulard, a old french neighborhood about 5 min from downtown with a ton of bars. a younger spot
1)Mcgurks(irish bar that gets packed)
2)Molly's (it'll be full of college kids but still fun)
3)1860's
4)Dukes
Central west end(mainly young wealthy kids who moved to STL) I dont care for the area, a lot of poeple like it because of tall buildings/dense pop..
1) Toms(traditional bar)
2) 1764
3) Sub Zero vodka bar
These are musts! I take everyone who comes to STL to these next two, a night you wont forget. these two are 3 blocks from each other, and they are late night 3 am bars. Go after 12. I'll be at nicks at some point this weekend
1) Nicks pub
2) talaynas
Last is maybe topgolf. Its not close, maybe 25-30 min uber. But its fun.
Avoid Washington ave bar district. Not safe.
Breweries
AB - obvsiouly
Urban chestnut
Schafly
4 hands
Wellspent
Civil Life
2nd shift
Last if you like Am drinking, pops across the river by the strip clubs closes at like 6 am. And Amsterdam tavern is a massive soccer bar that will be packed with people drinking 7am -

Great list. If we absolutely have to do something touristy Saturday late morning/afternoon, what would you do? A few want to play golf but I have no desire to given the heat/weather forecast.
