Xenoblade X bros?

Comes out in 48 hours. Arguably the gold standard for open world exploration, the prototype for Breath of the Wild and probably the greatest game nobody’s ever heard of.
Also frick Tatsu. I wish there was an option in this game for Lin to actually cook him alive.

One of my favorite games of all time....
But no way do I have time to play that game again. The world and exploration are amazing but it just takes a ton of time to play. It might have the most amount of hours logged for me for a single player game.

It’s a shame this game didn’t get the love it deserved at its original release. I sold my WiiU years ago and have been really looking forward to this since it was announced.

I've never played a game that required more quality of live improvements than Xenoblade X, but there is a good game buried in their somewhere. It was just released at the height of Monolithsoft's "overcomplicate everything for no reason era" that they didn't quite break out of until Xenoblade 3.

Finally getting around to trying the remaster.
The framerate is.....ooooof
It literally runs worse than the Wii U version. You won't find many reviewers talking about that which is interesting.
I would be interested to know if Monolithsoft literally took the base game, added the quality of life improvements, and made 0 changes to the visuals if we could get at least a consistent 60 FPS. If not 60 FPS, then a locked 30 with a 1080p resolution seems more than doable on Switch Hardware.
Making all these changes to "enhance" the visuals only for the game to run at 20-25 FPS all while the game still looks like it has Vaseline smeared all over the TV isn't the answer.
