I just got around to finishing the QTp quest, the nopon history quest, a few of the rare blade quest, and grinded a few more rare blades using the new skip feature. I think I'm at the end up chapter 8 and have probably physically played the game ~110 hours (my game data says 135, but I keep the game idle and let merc missions play in the background)

Definitely get your money's worth out of this beast of a game. I don't know if I have the resolve to beat it lol

I know Freauxzen is gonna use this against me one day on the main board but I don’t give a frick.
I’ve never been one to go full weeb, but I need to speak. First off, these are probably my 2 favorite characters in the game. Their design is top notch and so are their voice actors and character progressions.
As with any fandom, there will always be “ships” but in all honesty, the game really does put out some super lesbo vibes with these 2, given the dynamic of their characters. From they way they hold eachother in certain scenes, to that heart thing Brighid does, to the late game dialogue and heart to hearts throughout the world in the late chapters.
Regardless, it’s a relationship (in general terms) that I probably root for the most in the game. The only thing that you could really criticize is how stacked Brighid is and her Brock from Pokémon eyes, which even then, open once or twice during the game.
As pretty as they are though, I like them better closed.

I ended up beating the game with Rex, Morag, Tora. It was a super safe setup and Morage could dish out significant damage with Brighid.

I've got that amazing healing blade, pyra, ursela for Rex
A fire QT tank, Earth regular tank, and dark evasion QTp for Tora
and Kos-Mos, pandoria, and xenobia for Zeke
Unfortunately Zeke is a little too strong and I end up having to revive him at least once on every long fight
ETA: with the new update it doesn't really matter, but we all start with all 3 skills full for the: water > Earth > dark combo to start all fights

Does Aegeon have to be bound to Rex? I’m in NG+ and I can’t remember.

So I just got to Elysium... Will there be a "no turning back" point in this game that I can save before and play too see the ending, then come back to?

This game is like a Zelda game. Beat the game but start back at the last save point.
The last save point is literally about 5 feet from the boss. The boss is pretty fricking cool too

He has to be bound to Morag in the normal game. I think there are only three "must" bounds to Rex. Pyra, Roc, Secret Blade

Whoa, I must have gotten really lucky, or spent way too much time salvaging... but I'm only short 1 rare blade: Dahlia.
Just need too to do some of the quest blades as well and I'll be at 100%

I wouldn’t think a thread like this would last. Maybe it’s the complexity. But either way, I think this song identifies with this game well:

It’s about a robot seeing a hard drive of memories of humanity’s destruction against itself and being absolutely appalled. Pretty deep stuff. Reminds me of the end of the game.
