Nice vid detailing the creative direction and how they wanted to preserve the core game while innovating with today's tech. A re-imagining of sorts. Check it out. I'm very excited for this.

It looks like they did a great job putting a remake in. I really enjoyed the original and terror from the deep. They were really fun games.
I will certainly check this one out when it comes out. Been playing mmo and first person shooters for so long that it would be fun to go back to the old turn based strategy.
Hopefully this time around they will increase the usefulness of the earth based weapons. I remember in the beginning the human weapons were very cool but almost useless. Once you got a hold of the alien tech you never looked back.
Appears that it will release in the Fall of 2012.
