I'm excited about the graphics enhancements. Hopefully they come through on what they said about bug fixes. I would have liked to have heard about restoration of cut content, but maybe that was a bridge too far

P.S. I have to think 60fps for consoles. 30fps is tolerable with an utterly stable frame rate, but every dip would be distracting.

Alright, just go the chance to watch that vid full screen on my gaming monitor, and I'm excited. For the sake of my console friends, I genuinely hope that they made improvements to global illumination outside of RT. As someone who has spent a fair amount of time installing graphics mods for TW3, I can say firmly that I believe that lighting was by far the weakest graphical link in the vanilla game. It was so. fricking. awful. It's so bad that I could never find a mod to really fix it, even though many attempted to do so. My second biggest complaint re: graphics was pop in, and considering they claim to have significantly improved distance based LOD, I'm hoping this problem goes away for everyone, as this was something that never really god proper mod fixed that didn't break a dozen other things in the process.
Speaking of mods, I hope this release spurs the mod community again, because I'm sure this patch is going to break just about fricking everything

The GOTY Version is $9.99
This update will buy them a ton of goodwill among gamers.
They did well with Cyberpunk also. It caught hell at launch but they stayed with it and it had a renaissance. I just started playing it but it's a solid game also.
It's just nice to see a studio support a game and not just push it out and move on to the next.

I haven't owned a console since the PS2, and my current build is now over two years old

hmmm, not sure. let me try a couple of things to blame and see if any of them stick: a) exhaustion from 2 kids under 2
b) alcohol consumption on a holiday
c) over exertion from attempting to hate your political fence sitting?
d) combo of a,b, and c.

Again, you must be confusing me with someone else. I couldn't be accused of being a moderate on a single political issue, much less of fence sitting. I simply don't agree with either side on every issue. But I know this can be confusing for my friends on both the left and right, because both sides insist on being so fricking stupid on so many issues
