Going to buy one and play all weekend. Which would you get first and what are the differences?

Porn.

In all seriousness I haven't played Days Gone but I enjoyed Dying Light. It's a pretty fun game.

Dying Light

Unless you love doing doughnuts on a chopper and cursing, then Days Gone.

Edt: Enjoy the weekend.

I've heard the first 8 hours of Days Gone can be a chore. Once the whole story opens up, most of the reviewers I pay attention to, liked the game. I've bought it on sale but haven't played it yet.

Dying Light is lots of fun from the start. The parkour works great. Once you get the grappling hook, it is even more fun. Great game but the final fight is a letdown but it doesn't spoil the great time I had playing it. I think I've finished this one 3 times.

Ok great, I think I am going to get both over the next couple of months. Just finished Outer Worlds and really enjoyed that

I’ve played both games and I enjoyed Days Gone more. Dying light is like dead island but with parkour. Days gone is closer to horizon zero dawn but with zombies instead of robots. It also has gun play/motorcycle mechanics.

Day's Gone is a really good game, but if I only had a weekend, I'd probably play Dying Light. Day's Gone can be pretty long.

Had a blast with Dying Light. Disappointed the follow up is delayed.

Days Gone was fantastic. It’s genuinely creepy with a great story.

Haven’t played Dying Light though.

Gonna download Days Gone tonight so it's ready to roll tomorrow when I get off work. Will save Dying Light for later.
