The article addresses IGN as the primary offender and I keep my observations onto the topic, so yes in my opinion the reviewers at IGN suffer from a lack of objectivity that isn't related to being a "fanboi".

Honestly, all the big sites' ratings are really terrible. Coincidence that they are plastered with ads for the games they are overrating? No way.
