We used to have big house parties that turned into sleepovers circa 5th, 6th grade. When all the chicks would leave, the guys would cram around a little tv and play SF2 on the SNES and have big tournaments till the sun came up.

I used to wreck shite with Guile. Everyone knew how to do the traditional combo moves (quarter circle, punch/kick) but nobody had yet mastered the "charge moves." I used to sit back and bust out the sonic boom and flash kick. He also had those tricky jump kicks that were tough to defend.

I was a terror with the big Russian. My buddy played the fat sumo and figured out how to make him "fly". I finally learned to counter with Russky's quick kick to the stomach, followed by the grappling moves.

In SF2, I'm pretty sure at least Bison was available. Not sure on Sagat. I know for sure Bison is on the Turbo HD Super Duper Califragilistic Golden Remix Edition.

I tore it up with Fei Long. Could still hold my own with him in some of the later installments, but haven't played in a very long time.

I thought on the original SF2 for SNES, you could only pick from 8 characters if you were doing a 1-2 player vs match.

Chun Li was awesome in Tournament Edition or whatever when she got the fireball and upside down spinning kick.
