I said I did not like the RPG features put into MW2 (THAT DID NOT EXIST IN SAY COD Unitied Offensive)

You level up and prestige and have little games that you have to do while playing the game in order to get more points to......LEVEL UP.. What do you get by playing these behind the scene games? Better weapon upgrades to add to your current weapons. HOW CANT YOU SEE THAT THIS WORKS LIKE ANY RPG game on the market???

And NO its not in every game.. COD United Offense had none of it for one example in the same series.

You are finally seeing that this is one big effort to make the day fly by huh??

Its a slow day.. Causing controversy makes it go by quicker..

I think its a good game not great but I know people that put it to the side and play World at War instead. Now I havent played that game but Im not a fan of the basic RPG they built into this game. It seems like they built in a bit of WoW into the game. And it sucks people in the same way. Not to say that both are not great games but they are built to feed on the addictive qualities on the simulated success.

The designers did it on purpose. The whole level up and prestige thing along with equiping weapons creating your class etc... This doesnt seem a little WoW to some of you?? Which is also wrong, backed up even by the link and quote that YOU, yourself, posted.

They said that they used an RPG-like leveling idea. Which is true of basically any game that allows you to level up. Nowhere does anyone say that this game is a MMORPG/RPG. And the only reason it vaguely fits into the definition of "RPG" is because, like every other single video game in history, you are controlling someone/something on the screen and using controls to make it perform acts. So the only way you're even half-correct is by saying that every video game ever made is an RPG. And we all know (even you, I just know it..) that MW2 is nothing like an RPG/MMORPG, as they are generally defined.

I can't make it any simpler. And now I'm leaving for the day.

And I will 100% stand by that.. They DID.. the developers dont hide it.. Send a letter to them if you want.. Is the game a full on MMORPG no because there is a first person shooter first aspect to the game. Did the designers throw in an RPG system to the game to make online play more enjoyable? Yes they did.. At least that was their intent. I dont find the RPG side of the game too great.


BTW

Basic RPG concept = game where you have to play and earn experience to open new items and level up with new experience comes new toys.

In that sense explain how COD United Offensive reveals RPG aspects?

Explain how MW2 does not have this built in?

Both games are in the same series and have same concepts.. one has an RPG system built in the other does not.
