What should I do with my old retro consoles/games?

Doing some house cleaning and realized I half of my old closet was full of old systems and games ranging from NES to wii.
I always told myself that I would hold onto them for nostalgia and maybe they'll increase in value over time. However, emulators, SNES classic, raspberry pi, and retro games in the online marketplace seems to have killed the value in terms of accessibility, leaving nostalgia and collection the only incentive for holding onto them.
I may never touch them again when its easier for me to emulate on a pc then dig it out of my closet if I want to play them.
Anyone else decided to part ways with their childhood? any regrets?

I wish I would have held on to my old gaming stuff. Would I ever play it? Nah. But it would be cool to have in my gaming room.

I have a closet full of systems with zero games. All my games got lost in the flood but my systems were in a container up high. This is normally backwards. I normally get games up high.

Either sell them or RGB mod them and get a PVM for retro goodness.

I have mine all plugged into one TV.

I'll post a pic later.

I traded in a bunch of my old original Xbox games, Dreamcast games, 360 games, etc. and the in-store credit I received was enough to get a special edition Xbox One with about $150 dollars left over. This was before Christmas back in 2014.

Keep it. There is a very strong retro gaming collecting community and they don't give a crap about emulators and stuff. They want the real deal.

I have an extra PVM for sale if anyone wants one.

If you think you will ever play them I'd keep them. Otherwise sell.
I periodically pull out an old system and play some games from the past. Currently it's the ps2, Ace Combat 4,5 and Castlevania Lament of Innocence.

I still wish I had my old TurboGraphix. How much do the old systems and games sell for now.
