WoW, is still going strong as they say, Starcraft survives from the tournament community. Do they ride the horse into the ground or do the put out something new?

I wish they would go back to a Warcraft 1, 2, and 3 type game, but I don't see them doing that.

Yep that is basically official. They are obviously still supporting Hearthstone, HotS, WoW, and Overwatch. Also keep in mind they are now supporting Battle.net in a bigger way by bringing Destiny and CoD there.

I don’t know whether they will make another RTS soon, do a spin-off of an existing franchise (like Warhammer to WoW), or a new IP.

I thought Destiny was denying?

Also if they bring COD there from Steam, enjoy having COD on PC being dead just weeks after launch.

COD is dead on steam regardless. I've had people who haven't played it on steam tell me they're going to get it just because it's on the bnet launcher.

Also yes I said bnet. It's still real to me dammit

As if there was an existing CoD scene on PC?

Destiny is dying for reasons unrelated to Battle.net. The point is that they clearly have a desire to be a platform for more than just Blizzard games, which requires work.

Then you have people like me who will not buy it because it’s on Bnet. It’s stupid I know but I like having all my games on steam. The only franchise I break this rule for is Battlefield. But unlike COD, I know a BF game (except Hardline) has a years of life in it when it releases

COD on PC doesn't really exist. At least not MP. It's bread and butter is on console. I bought AW on PC, loved it, but it didn't take long before the player base shriveled up.

I buy the CoD games, play 6 hour campaign and then I am done, but I usually go back and play it again at some point.

Yeah I know. I've bought every COD on PC at launch from MW2 onward. Hackers ruin it.

I always liked COD on computer better as I am better with mouse and keyboard. Few years ago had purchased it for CPU, forget which version was WW2 gameplay though. Beat buy Clerk looked at me stupid for buying for P.C. There was NEVER an online presence, few thousand people max.

Amen. Warcraft 4 would be amazing. At this point I'm just hoping WC3 gets a remaster similar to Starcraft.

I think the "they" in this statement is Activision. It's clear they want to Co-OP B.net as their version of EA Origin or any other number of digital distribution and Blizzard is along for the ride

WC4 is basically WoW in terms of continuing the story.

I'm 100% with you though. The WC1, WC2, and WC3/Frozen Throne were awesome RTS games. I would play the daylight out of a remastered WC3 or new RTS set in the Warcraft Universe, even if it's the same WoW timeline.
