probably not gonna happen tho cause MS owns Rare and the IP for BK
It’s such a fricking travesty. I mean really, Microsoft buying Rare might be the worst thing to happen to video games.

Especially since Rare is just a name now and all the actual talent they had in the 1990s that made DK Country, Banjo, Conker, etc are all gone.

The biggest travesty is that the N64 Classic won't have Goldeneye.

First, the controller. The N64 controller is much larger and more complicated than the NES/SNES ones. I mean hell it would be bigger than the actual system and possibly more expensive. It's one of the biggest, clunkiest video game controllers ever (I love it btw). They could always get around this by charging more but still.
Still the best controller ever made.

It was a game I rented from Blockbuster and absolutely loved

Second, the early 3D games graphics/camera/controls hold up less well than NES/SNES games ironically
This.
I tried to play Goldeneye a few years back at my cousins and had to turn it off. It felt impossible to play as the graphics were so bad compared to what I’m used to. Felt like you were just shooting at random pixels.

You can mitigate the effect by playing on an old school TV but the people buying these classic editions are doing so with the idea of hooking it up HDMI to their new tv's. Not many people have old tube tv's lying around.

if goldeneye couldnt appear on Rare Replay, no way it gets put in a classic box

RGB mod your system and game on a PVM.

No way an N64 Classic would have Rogue Squadron or any of the WCW/WWF games either.

The reason it wasn't on Rare Replay is because Nintendo published it. DK 64 was developed by Rare and published by Nintendo and it'll be on the N64 classic.
Proof?
DK Country developed by Rare, published by Nintendo is on the SNES Classic.
