I tried playing it several years ago but for some reason I didn't quite get into it, bought it for pretty cheap off amazon and have been playing it off and on for about 6 months now. I have New Vegas, Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite, Assassins' Creed 3 and 4, haven't started any of those...I don't play as much as I used to and I'm pretty much a completionist so these games will keep me occupied for a few more years I'm sure lol.

I bought Stellaris, but only got it to launch once, and I had manually modify files to get it to work then. Apparently the new launcher is broken. Hopefully it gets fixed. I liked the little bit I got to play it.

It is a very good game.
It's combat is turn based, with the twist of extra turns. Characters gain extra actions when they hit an enemy with one of their weaknesses. You use Persona's for magical/skill attacks. Each Persona has their own strengths and weaknesses.
The non-combat portion of the game plays out quite differently. You play through an entire school year. There are tons of activities you can do after school and spending time with your friends benefits gameplay in the social link gameplay feature. Each friend represents an arcana (think tarot cards) and spending time with them leveling up that Arcana's social link. Benefits combat and which Personas you can use.
Game is quite long and can be a bit weird until you get used to the game flow. I do promise the story, characters, and music are all worth it in my opinion.

Lately been playing Nascar Heat 4 as a guilty pleasure. Played it when it was on an EA FreePlay weekend and got kinda hooked to it.
And I'll play the hell out of some Minecraft when I have my nephews over.

I wont lie, i got overwhelmed and never finished it. didn't even finish the first palace lol. i really want to get back to it because I loved what I played but holy frick there is so much to do and it's a lot to take in. once there's a dry spell game-wise I will return to it

There's really only two ways to play this type of game. You either use a guide to get you max social links/social stats/etc or you just do whatever the hell you want. I did a bit of a hybrid and used a guide to figure what days different people/activities were available and just planned for that.

Borderlands 3. Dedicated drops have made farming more effective for me, and some friends recently got it so starting a new character on multiplayer. Hoping to get cross platform for that same reason too.
