Finished playing GTA 5 this week for the first time, was able to get over the controls and really enjoyed it. Makes me think I can possibly get over the hump I've had about RDR2. Played a little last night and jeez, it's such a slow game. Will keep at it, though.

Fallout 4 as a fall back.

The first 10-15 hours are painfully slow. Have no idea what they were thinking. The game doesn't make a good first impression IMO. Perhaps they didn't want to overwhelm people with everything at once.

Pretty much all the systems and stuff are unlocked as you go, and by time I hit about 15 hours all the intro stuff was over.

Fired up ff12: zodiac age a few weeks ago. Hated it when I played it back in 06 when it first came out but am about 25 hours in and am really enjoying it now. The MMO battle style is a nice change of pace from the slower turn based previous ones. The hunts are challenging, more so than the boss battles so far. The story is a bit hard to follow, keep having to google whats going on. Definitely one of the more mature FF story lines

After I’m done with this one I’ll just have 13-2, 13-3, and 15 left as far as FFs go. Been on a FF tear these last couple years lol

Beginning is definitely slow, but like you said, they didn’t want to drop all of the controls/commands/quality of life (gun cleaning, eating, etc) all at once.

I actually really enjoyed the control system the longer I played. Only thing I hated was actually having to do the loot animation to every single dead enemy.

I still get on and frick around to try to 100% it every once in awhile.

Definitely starts out slow but Horse Riding Simulator does hit it's stride after 15-20 hours.

I am trying to power through My first Persona 5 playthrough so I can get to Destiny. I finally was talked into buying all the DLC.

Really enjoying Persona 5, the story is okay but I find myself kind of zoning out during some of the long manga cutscenes.

Speaking of the story, it’s honestly so ridiculous — the plot and why you end up in where you are when you start and then the ‘confidants’ that you spend time with outside of combat to gain boosts.

One of them is your teacher that dresses in a slutty maid outfit that comes over to clean your room and calls you master. Another is an outcasted doctor in your neighborhood that you allow to do clinical trials on your character and is constantly hitting on you. There’s also a female journalist companion that is always in a bar and the bartender always makes a ‘Robbing the cradle’ reference every time you walk in.

Oh and if you don’t know, you play as a high school kid

You can actually romance the teacher. And a few other older women.

Evidently sexing it up with teachers ins't frowned upon over there.

I started playing Dragon Age: Inquisition. Played it when it first came out but never finished it so I rolled a new toon and want to get through the whole game this time. Just want to have it finished before FFVII remake comes out.

I have over 200hrs in FO4 but never finished Far Harbor. Keep trying every few months.

As for RDR2, I love the world, just isn't fun.

Luigi's Mansion 3
City of Heroes
Maybe finish Spider Man

It looks so good. If it played more like a video game, I'd be set for a while.

I liked it but wasn't enamored enough to 100% the island. The setting was a bit too dreary and it got old wandering all over it.

I liked the story, though.
