Weekend Gaming Thread: 'member these?

Just finished God of War, so I feel like my slate is clear enough to finally dive into Assassin's Creed Origins and cross that off my list. I'm really itching for a good shooter for that filler gaming but I can't really think of what that should be. BF4 I suppose, but I kind of want something new.

I played through Saints Row 4 then Saints Row 3. Now I'm playing Saints Row 1. Will try to fit in Saints Row 2 before Shenmue comes out but I don't know if I can beat them both in time.

Probably will play a good bit of the Insurgency Sandstorm beta with some PUBG mixed in.

Summit was having some god awful lag spikes anytime he would encounter an enemy. He would restart after a few games and it would work fine, but then it would come back

No gaming from me until Sunday afternoon. Got the GF in town and have a bunch of stuff I gotta do.

I look at PUBG in the steam store occasionally, and recent reviews of it are pretty bad. Is it just something you still play simply because, or do you still find it kind of fun?

probably knock out the first dark souls 3 dlc.

It has some of the best shooting mechanics you'll find in a game, which is why most of us play it.
If it wasn't for the awful desync, the game would be leaps and bounds better

Pings were pretty bad on NA servers. Minimum I saw was around 80 and most people had at least 120. I don't think I experienced any terrible lag spikes while running into enemies, though.
Somebody on reddit made a couple suggestions to make it run more smooth, so I'm going to try that when I get off of work today.

The alpha did, but the beta isn't under NDA.

I'm back at work and football is in full swing, so with my limited gayming time, I don't know if I'll buy it and not have the time I want to sink in. I'll probably check it out in November

I still play pubg when I can mainly because I enjoy playing with the same group. I never play solo and only occasionally duo. Gayming is funner together

I've been playing Dragon Age Inquisition. I've done a lot of repeat gaming this year. Nothing new is jumping out at me.
