I'll be snagging my Switch 2 at my Game Stop midnight release. Looking forward to my second one when Nintendo finally gets back to me. Either give that one to my college bound kid or sell it online.

Replying to the top, just an FYI to anybody wanting one, my friend that works at a certain retailer with blue shirts said they had 100, mostly mario kart bundles, but 100 units on hand for sale tomorrow(not pre orders for pickup). This is also in a small market. I'd say there's a decent chance if you show up at 9 or 10, whenever they open, you might snag one.

I think there is a lot of stock if you show up tonight. Every Game Stop in my area has 60 Switch 2s, all the Targets, plenty of Best Buys and Walmarts, etc.

Gamestop here did some BS where you had to come by the store between 3-9 to "precheck" even though I'd paid for the entire thing when I preordered. So now I have to wait until the open tomorrow to pick mine up. Allegedly they called everyone but there were three other people in line with me that never got a call either so it's garbage.

At least you're getting one today. My online Gamestop pre-order just says "Preparing for shipment" still.

It’s not that nobody cares. It’s nobody cares so much to a degree that they’re going to say the console is shite or not worth the price over it. It’s like whipped cream on ice cream. It’s a nice extra but it’s not the main course and it’s not essential.

So they did away with the Primary Console designation, and the virtual game card function is how you reload your digital purchases from the eShop.
