Best COD game ever. The maps were the best of any game by far.
This was the last COD I played religiously, I picked up Black Ops 2 and it was okay, but just nothing after this did it for me.

I remember being so let down when they revealed BLOPS2 being set in the future and not after the first one.
Just the whole mystique of that Cold War era and the JFK assassination, along with Vietnam was perfect for CoD.

As bad as the hit markers were, still the best one I've played. I'd even put it above MW2 when looking at time played. Plus wager match added a lot of life to the game.

that game was such easy mode for us I could run around with a silencer spas12, smoke, and a hatchet and drop a 50burger on lobbies.
