Can't wait for Nier, gameplay looks greatly improved. They still retained the visual charm of the original too. GOAT

Still hard to explain to the wife how I am saving the world and the character is dressed like that

Yes, it's all tied into the Drakengard games as well. Nier and Nier Automata are still separated by a large gap of time though. There are some moments that will mean more after you played Nier Replicant though.

I equate the Nier lore similar to Zelda on a fundamental level. A lot of characters reappear in different forms or iterations such as devola and poppola (if I remember correctly how to spell their names) but sometimes the names are different too so....yeah. It would be like if Zelda from OoT would be called Sabrina in BotW etc.

Hopefully Square Enix has a teaser trailer for FF7 remake part 2

Not sure what I was expecting but I've seen some videos titled "Japanese Game Show"

Is Replicant the same as the Nier Reincarnation game that also seems to have a trailer?
ETA: NVM I see that's a mobile game

Or at the very least an indication as to who is voicing Cid, Vincent and Yuffie.

Yes and no. I wouldn't go much into spoiler territory, but the reappearing characters aren't just in there as a reference. There are very real story reasons for their appearance.

New Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity trailer LINK
I'm really looking forward to this game. Looks like something my 6 year old and I can jam out on together.
ETA: I may have missed something, but TGS seems to be pretty anticlimactic so far other than the Nier remake announcement. Is that normal? I don't usually pay attention to TGS so I wasn't sure what to expect.
