Best way to farm gear that gets to the 30+ quickly?

Best way to get that is to do the prison of elders stuff to get cores and buy gear that is maxed out on light

After 20 it's mainly doing the strike playlist to earn gear & continue to do dailies so you can get Rank 2 or 3 to obtain +36 Light gear from Vanguard class vendors. When you're able. You can do crucible to obtain gear that has pretty good light rolls to boost up your level quickly.

Ran skolas last night, ugh. Lightswitch is insane, basically spent the entire boss fight running for our lives because one melee hit from anything kills you.

Haven't done Skolas yet, looking for a few ppl to help me through it.
