I generally do a strike or two every day when i go home for lunch. Me and my friends play for a few hours either Mon/Wed nights. Been doing nothing but crucible this week with IB.
I might see if the others I play with want a set night to raid. That's what I miss most from WoW is handling my stuff during the week and then having that 1 night to burn through a raid.

This game is dead to me. I logged into the tower and just SAT there for 20 min. No motivation to do anything.

We'll Bungie put out an update stating that Crimson Days won't be returning this year. We're getting something completely new. I'm excited about that.

I only got the game about 7 months ago, so I like the strikes more than the raids because it just seems like most raid peeps get pissed if you don't remember exactly how to handle every single section.

Most raids I've been in won't fret over a wipe or two, but it really shouldn't take more than that to down a boss.

Hardcore raid players like that invade and ruin Alot of games for casual players.
Sometimes, I just want to try out a build or have fun with a weapon or skill. I'm aware that it's not mathematically the precise best weapon to use for the best build to clear each level as fast as humanly possible.

There's only a few of them and if you do the same exact thing for every one every time, where the hell is the fun?

Raiding is fun for me. In wow we 10manned everything. It was 10 of us that played for years together. Just seeing how fast/efficient you could do a zone.. Hard mode challenges were fun too. After a while people would sub in their alt characters and gear them too.
It's not for everyone, but I always had a blast. Can't wait to start raiding in destiny.

I hate PvE in Destiny, but I guess you could consider me a 'hardcore raider' lol.
As in that I will typically only join groups with ridiculous requirements because 99 percent of the time, it will take an hour w/ challenge and no one talks unless it's regarding empowerment or something to do with the task at hand.
Nothing more annoying than being in a group w/ someone bullshitting the whole time.

I've got a good group to raid with and it's fun but by no means hardcore.
I did raid with 4 randoms one time when a buddy sent me an invite to help them finish up and holy shite it was miserable. Buncha frickin nerds. Pretty sure one of them jizzed his pants every time he made a headshot.

ha, 393 defender titan. I need to just go and quit trying to talk/wait on my friends. I play with 2 others..one guy has a 400 and 2 390's and the other is in the 380s. He's getting burned out on just doing heroics so i think i can get him interested in it.

No. There is elo rankings for every game mode on guardian.gg though.

Anybody else super excited about the Age of Triumph event? The new record book is 13 pages long! Vault of Glass is definitely looking to make a comeback along with Crotas End and Kings Fall. Personally, I can't wait!
