Hard hit? It literally trickled to the wall bouncing midway down the line and about 5 times to the wall.
No one with any kind of speed in baseball is getting thrown out with 2 outs on a double from first going on contact. I don't know how much baseball you watch, but that's pretty common sense really.

Shits stupid is all.
I would have finished the game still but upon unpausing it didn't repause me at the menu so he did something to score a run then get on 2nd. So screw that.
Any other game if you are at the menu it automatically pauses, apparently MLB just keeps playing the CPU throws meatballs down the middle after 10 seconds of not choosing a pitch. So frick that.

Honestly I don't blame ya for that. It is stupid how it throws it automatically. Hope they make some adjustments with this stuff.

When are you going to lose? Only good thing about you winning so much is your dominating the rest of the division and keeping me in the race for 2nd with my crappy arse record.

I'm with Jamie on this whole issue. For some reason, MLB 14 has the serious issue of showing something on one screen and something else happening in game. The commentary even fits what is not being shown. I hit a ball online that the guy tried to dive after and it rolled all the way to the wall.. By the time I was half way to 3rd, he had gathered the ball and threw it in. Only problem is that what I saw was a HUGE rainbow that he threw in to the cutoff man. On my screen the ball never made it past the cut off man. The cut off man ran it in, and the screen went to the next batter so I thought I had a triple. Nope.. next batter came to the plate and I had two outs instead of 1.

Yeah. The Godfather can confirm this too I'm sure. We've played 4 or 5 games vs each other between the two leagues and something like that has happened in each one. The most common is a bad throw over the 1st baseman's head goes to the dugout but when you try to advance to 2nd, the SS is waiting on you with the ball. I've just learned to be ultra conservative when advancing on passed balls.

The way I approach it is even if the ball is "overthrown" there is no real advantage over the risk of being thrown out. I have a pretty solid idea of what should be a triple and what should be a double, etc. so I try not to get greedy just because I see something that isn't taking place. Regardless, I don't think it's any reason to drop in the middle of a game.

I approve!! if for nothing else, my hitting has improved dramatically since his tips he posted the other day
I have won 4 in a row and have my team back to .500 for the first time since i have taken them over.
Is there a way to quit a game against AI without it being a loss for you? I would never do it if i was losing a game, but like the other night Illuminatic asked me to play a game right after i had started a AI game. A pitch hadn't even been thrown yet in the game and i exited out so we could play and it gave me a loss in that game.

My only suggestion would be to take picture proof that you were not quitting because you were losing (especially in the instance where a user wanted to play), and then post it with a request to have the game restarted
