Tomorrow the DLC drops?

I pre-ordered the 4 new Amiibos. They aren't getting released until the Holidays correct?

Guess this weekend will be dedicated to Crash.

Star fragments were tough. I think I got most of mine from hunting lynels. Also, when you start up BotW for the day, I had really good luck standing on the twin peaks, camping until night, and then staring east. It seems, and I could be mistaken, that the general location of shooting stars is on some sort of rotation from the number of game days after you boot up the game.

As for the electric beetles, I found most of them in the patches of trees around the Akkala Lab. You need to have sneak ability on as they run pretty quick. Also, once you spot your first one, make sure you take a picture of it first and then turn your radar on to track more of them.

The first wave of the DLC drops tomorrow. It has the Master Trials, which looks like 45 levels of Eventide Island. Also has a tracker on the map which shows where you've been, along with two new armor sets and a couple of new masks.

The additional story DLC doesn't get released until the holidays. I'm not sure about the amiibos.

They only drop on Full Moons between the hours of 9pm - 2am. Don't quote me on times because its been a while since ive farmed them. Have all maxed out gear, so farmed close to 40 star fragments.

So.. they will only drop on those times and only in your field of view. So pick a high tower and sit.

Looks like it's going to be available to download tonight, 9 PM PT / 12 AM ET.

It's gonna be a late night.

So apparently there are Lynels on the Plateau from the start in Hard Mode, and they're Silver Lynels at that.

I swear that during the Nintendo Treehouse they said when doing the Master Trials you could restart on the floor where you left off. I ran through a few levels and each time I died I had to start at floor 1.

Wasn't this the same with Wolf Link in TP? You started over again during those?

I think they meant that after reaching a certain level, you could restart from there, but they come in bunches. So like you would have to get to level 15 where there's a checkpoint, and then you could restart from level 15, but any levels between and you'd go back to the last checkpoint. (I'm not sure if what I said made any sense)

Got the Travel Medallion. That was pretty easy.

Gonna get all the extra masks and armour before tackling the Master Trials.

The Path of the Hero thing is pretty awesome. I watched my track from the very start of the game for about 15 minutes. It was kind of mezmorizing.

eta: It also shows everytime you die, which at the beginning was a shite ton for me

Just completed the yiga clan hideout. I was laughing my arse off that the boss. I spent way too much time exploring and getting shrines and towers and shite. Still have 2 divine beasts left, then Gannon, then I'll buy the expansion.

Yea, the Hero Path is really neat. It feels like I've played over 100 hours, but I'm surprised how much I remember doing just from watching a line cross the map. I tried doing the lake tower with all of the electric lizalfos and wizrobes with only four hearts, and I refused to give up. Watching the Hero Path was a good couple of minutes watching me die like 20+ times.

As for the master trials, they're not nearly as difficult as I thought they'd be... at least through the first 30 levels. It's really just a matter of being patient, something I'm not very good at. Most of it boils down to how good you are with the bow.

You forget how spoiled you were with armor on the Master trials too. The smallest hit takes like 4 hearts now. I've already died a couple times because I was careless.
