Y'all need to read more into Link's relationship with his childhood friend Mipha. It's probably the most tragic story in the game. Based on the events set before Gannon's return, they were literally set to be married in the coming days with her giving Link the Zora equivalent of an engagement ring. It's a funky pairing, but nevertheless was very heartfelt. Her father regrets ever letting her explore the east reservoir lake to become Vah Rutah's pilot. Link was essentially the next Zora king. Which would've made him somewhat of an Alexander the Great type of character.

I agree with stamina. food and comfy beds at inns make getting extra hearts easy.
stamina is always at a premium when you are climbing, swimming , running, charging attacks, gliding. stamina food isn't as easy to get as OML said
ive gone stam - stam - heart - heart and my next upgrade ill go for stam again

Also you do receive hearts after beating temple bosses.

It's not permanent if you find something, but don't look it up. Just discover it on your own
I went stamina because until you get better armor they're going to one hit kill you anyway in most areas or leave you with a quarter of a heart piece
Take the stamina, cook for hearts. Then go heart, stamina and then load up on hearts for a while.

I have 4 stamina containers and I lost count of hearts. 6 or 7 heart containers not counting bosses and the ones you start with

But the extra stamina is used less than the extra heart containers as far as cooking. Basically if you cook for stamina you won't blow through your inventory

Looks like players are starting to find eventide
2 articles on it now. It's really my favorite moment of the game so far. If you don't know what I'm talking about it don't google it or it will completely rob you of the satisfaction of discovering it

Why would you even mention it then.

I read a brief description of eventide a few days ago and yeah, it sounds awesome. cant wait to find it!

Because some here have found it. It's a discussion. If it's spoiled that's because someone looked it up...and I told them not to

Perhaps shouldn't have used the geographical description. Didn't cross my mind. I just think of things as names

I'm already calling it the best.

I'm enjoying it more than Majora's Mask, lets just put it that way.

Reading this thread has made me legit depressed that I don't have it yet.

I
Are you gathering this just from the early Zora domain cutscenes? I thought it seemed like Link didn't necessarily consider her a romantic interest, she just loved him. I don't know that he had accepted her proposal. Unless, of course, there are later cutscenes that show this.

yeah, that's gathered from the early Zora cutscenes and basically is all determined from Mipha making Link the Zora Armor

it's the best Zelda and people have their preferences for open world games
but as far as exploration it's the best open world game. every other open world game the environment was pretty but just a set piece while I check off my to do list.
it is convention breaking. I've been so conditioned by other games, and this game just breaks you of those habits and expectations and it's great.
it's better than OoT even with the context in which that game was made. the environment is never repetitive and every inch of it seems thought out which says a lot because the world is ginormous. also there's emphasis on what's in front of you rather than looking at a HUD. given that you can see pretty much one end of the map to the other, and other things, I think they wanted to make this game with no HUD but players would lose their mind at the thought of it, so they just made it an option to remove the HUD
