Maybe but I'm loving it because I'm forced to mix things up. I'm a set in my ways kind of guy so I like that ironically the only thing the game pushes on you is variety and experimentation. I have the master sword and I almost never have it equipped. My weapon choices have been fashion accessories mostly. Bandana and rags calls for boko shield and club. Zora armor and gerudo armor calls for spears. Hylian armor means claymore. The blue tunic calls for the classic sword and shield combo I know that's stupid

Be patient with it. It's easier than it looks.

I managed to get up using some food buffs.

Just the entire landmark was really stunning. What the frick went on here in the past. What the frick is currently going in here in the present. I can't wait to play tomorrow

There's a guy at the edge of the cliff next to it, you save him from some monsters and he gives you the backstory

Was trying to see if I could get a flurry strike from dodging a guardians laser

Hit the wrong button and instead hit the laser with my shield and sent it back to him and it killed him

Akalla Tower was awesome. Just took that one yesterday.

Can someone divulge which forest Hestu is in? I wanted to come across him naturally, but I'd really like to expand my inventory sooner rather than later

I think he's right around the dueling peaks or somewhere in Necluda. But once you do his side quest he hauls arse to the Great Deku Tree. Make sure you have that place unlocked as well.

No I didn't take the road to Kakariko unfortunately. I'll check there. Thanks

If you're talking aobut the snowy mountains region, the tower is in the eastern portion of the region not terribly far from the border if memory serves me correctly

So what's the board's consensus at the beginning of the game - take the heart and cook for stamina, or take the stamina and cook for hearts? I'm leaning toward heart because it's permanent and just cooking up a stamina brew when I have to climb a long way.

For your first, go with Stamina. You're going to be climbing a lot and be getting killed a lot regardless of a single hearts difference. Plus its a hell of a lot easier to find food and cook dishes that replenish hearts. Stamina is a bit more difficult to find the ingredients. After your first stamina, go with hearts.

God this game makes my heart hurt. It's basically Majora's Mask in Fallout 3's clothing.

You don't climb towers in FO.

I'll say more like FarCry.

Edt: With all the climbing, they must have hired ex Ubisoft devs.
