SS is a weird game

Overrated by the critics and underrated by a lot of players. It suffers from exhaustion with the formula. For me that was the point where I was thinking "this is getting stale"

Jesus, so this game is getting pretty much all perfect scores?

Haven't seen anything like that since Super Mario Galaxy

Some staff writer at ign who hated SS said 5 years ago that the series needed to make the 3D version of the nes game...it appears that is exactly what they did

The last Zelda game I played was Twilight Princess

It was too easy, I never got stuck once, too linear

Gamespot said this is the most impressive game Nintendo has ever created. Jesus, I can't think of any higher praise than that.

It's really good but in making the overworld itself a puzzle they really sacrificed exploration. It's a concept they've really been trying and you see it with a link between worlds too...it seems they've finally nailed it

Gamespot doesn't just splooge over Nintendo either

Ign review isn't worth paying attention to though. Miyamoto could mail them his stool in a jar and they would give it a 10

Across the board reports are saying Zelda constantly drops to 25-20 fps when docked to a TV on the switch.

If they can't get Zelda running smooth that's a red flag.

They say it runs fine as handheld.

I'm going to wait a bit before taking this plunge

It really is.

It doesn't feel like a Zelda game to me if that makes any sense.

Had fun with it though.

It's unique and at the same time it's a slave to the formula

Better than TP but it just came at the exact time the formula was stale.

The music is fantastic, most cinematic of any Zelda game and story driven but it's also the easiest Zelda game, and the most linear.

I wanted to replay it but starting in oct I kind of shelved playing any Zelda so that BOTW would be fresh

Skyward Sword is the best game that I never want to play again.

Groose was great though. His theme: LINK

great way of putting it. Exactly how I feel. I keep saying "ooh I'm going to replay it" and I always play something else

I will replay it eventually though

I guess I'm in the minority when I say that TP is probably my all time favorite Zelda. It's probably a toss up with that and OoT, but I loved everything about TP and feel Midna is one of the better side characters in the series. The wolf stuff didn't bother me at all, which I know was a sticking point for a lot of people.

I really loved the triforce temple where you had to arrange the themed rooms in order

That was a pretty clever and new...but not exactly difficult

The problem with it is that it isn't creative at all and they shoved Ganondorf in for no reason. He should not have been in that game. Hell, Zelda herself isn't really much of a plot element here either. Should have just left it with Zant. It tries way too hard to be Ocarina of Time.

Link to the Past is till the greatest of all time to me.

It is everything that Zelda is supposed to be.
