It is a known FACT that the gaming companies and movie studios will not give early access to individuals who rate a game or movie poorly.

I don't think he is saying they had an Eagle Scout meeting and all obtained marching orders there at the meeting.
Just saying the "wokeness" within that group leads to higher reviews when reviewing "woke" things.
