Definitely my favorite moment in gaming. Couldn't believe I didn't see it coming but loved it.
Pretty good one. Saw it coming for a mile away though

Seriously, though, escaping from the Pillar of Autumn at the end of Halo 1 in the warthog with the music playing. Badass scene
Goddammit, that was fun as shite.

Fall Out 3.
Making the trek to Ten Penny tower, pushing the button on the detonator and watching Megaton go up in a beautiful mushroom cloud of glory.
I saved it right before I hit it and reloaded the save probably 5 times.

I got chills at the ending of Red Dead Redemption. I didn't see that coming at all.

I seriously need to expand my gaming library and experience.

Oh man, where do I start..lol
I remember renting an N64 with Super Mario 64 from a local video store on the release date. I scrapped up enough money, got on my bike then rode about 6 miles to get it..when I popped that game in, I was freakin' blown away. Played it until the sun came up.
Many scenes from Chrono Trigger gave me goosebumps lol. Seeing Lavos destroy the world when you lost kinda creeped me out the first time as a kid. Anytime I hear Frog's, Robo's, or the 600 AD song, it reminds me why I love this game.
I remember the first time on Earthbound that I beat Titanic Ant and got Ness's first Sanctuary Sound Stone, I got so pumped lol. Then, after I faught Captain Strong and got to Twoson, I got pumped again! That game gave me such a sense of satisfaction once I got to a different town and the music changed.
The scene on MGS right before you fight Grey Fox (Cyborg Ninja).

Hyrule for the first time was unreal. I also thought sailing for the first time in Zelda The Windwaker was epic as well.

Heavy Rain:
This game had several " is this really happening scenes". The one that sticks out is when I had to cut off my persons hand. He would do anything to get his son back.

The end of Assassin's Creed Britherhood. I need to find time to beat the new one without my 4 year old around.
Most of Batman Arkham City gave me goosebumps.
Fighting the metal gears in Sons of Liberty. The fight after kind of ruined this for me, though.
Stepping into Hyrule Field was nice and all, but I'd have to side with another poster about the waters of Wind Waker.

Walking into the Raccoon City Police Department at the beginning of Resident Evil 2. Then, moments later, seeing The Licker crawl across the window.

Fighting Zeus at the end of GOW III

I actually preferred finding Lake Hylia for the first time on Ocarina of Time to Hyrule Field.
Also Red Dead for me, just the size and detail of the world. That was the first game I really found that stood up to Zelda in that sense.

I thought the balloon part on Heavy Rain was pretty cool. When you make it to hell in Doom3 was worth remembering.
