Really liked this game until level 30. After that the game basically has nothing to offer.

I officially quit last night.

Reddit is full of hyperbole, but the game is jacked compared to its potential.

You have this giant, beautiful city that you built, and its useless after 2 weeks of play. You add a ridiculously overpowered "horde" mode as the incursion, one that takes place in a single room, instead of using the map. Then allow an exploitable glitch (see 2 posts up) into it as well that lets people abuse it for improved PVP gear.

It's just stale and the devs seem to be making it worse instead of better.

Sucks, b/c the first 25+ hours were fun as hell.

Two hot fixes went out today to fix some glitches so I think it's better.

Even if it were working perfectly, msmhater is correct. Not much to do endgame.

With that said, I'm rank 88 in the DZ and can solo the Pit and Q building so I clearly enjoy it.

The dz has just enough random factor of pvp to keep it interesting.

The subreddit recently lifted a ban on shite posting and memes so that's why it's extra salty





the current "incursion glitch" at the top of the subreddit is a troll post to get people to waste their time trying it

Less than half of the room is even possible to play in because the turrets cut off half of it.

That said. It isn't overpowered. I have run it multiple times with a competent group. No issues on hard.

On challenging, well I think you need GS around 195-200 and good communication to take a stab at it and you might fail a few times.

As much fun as a brutal/deadly 204 aug is (and it is indeed fun) I think an electronics person is necessary for CM incursions.

plus 1 shotting people with BFB Stickys in the DZ looks hilarious.

Valkyria/Liberator and then I need to hit 2579 electronics via armor. Probably gonna craft tacticians.

Support Station/Smart Cover and then yell at people to stay the frick near me (they wont)

I am GS 194 I think. 182 weapons only 44 in DZ
Brutal / Swift MP5 and Deadly / DMG+ closer than 12m AK. Sometimes for PVE only I switch to my vector with destructive / swift for armor damage stacking up to 40% with striker two piece bonus.

4/2 Tac / Striker setup. Base SP is 25k with 30% (10 from gear 20 from set) skill haste, goes up to 50 in a heartbeat on challenge modes. Run Smart Cover always and pulse/first aid / support station depending on what the team needs. No downtime on smart cover or pulse when it is rocking full bonus.

Multiple pickup groups have noted that challenge modes have been "the easiest ever" and did not know why.

Smart Cover when maxed out gives 50% base damage boost and 75% damage resistance. I have taken a shot from the APC in hard mode incursion and did not die. Pulse basically caps everyone's crit chance while providing a huge crit damage bonus with zero down time. I crit lvl 32 elites with my AK over 100k on head crits. With the steady hands talent, I pop in and out of cover to refresh it and laser beam headshots with max crit and supercharged chrit damage for 10 seconds. MP5 crits around 80K with a much better ROF and headshot bonus damage.

Running a support build is not sexy at all, but I find that teams I am on do significantly better when I am around making everyone else better at their job. The particular buffs I like to run make me more than respectable in damage output too.

Why no Caduceus though? I thought it was best in slot for electronics users?

I guess you felt the coolheaded talent was no longer neccesary, due to the skill haste from TA set, and the increased dmg from your mp5 and ak?

I don't need cooldown bonuses anymore and the AK offers far superior damage.

I am looking fwd to the May update.

I'm sure Broken Circle will be a glitched disaster but new Challenge mode missions will be cool.

I'm sure one of them will be Cleaners. Amherst's apt or Napalm production site I hope.

If they are smart It'll be Napalm Site or Broadway Emporium IMO. Two of the best designed atmospheres for a mission in the game. And people don't know how to deal with challenge mode cleaners yet so it'll be a fun learning experience. Immunizer support station to deal with fire will be a must.

And they need to make a General Assembly challenge mode. That way we can have 2 rikers, 2 LMB and 1 cleaner and 1 rioter challenge missions.

I just hope they don't put the GS requirement too far out of reach for people who have (mostly) played legit (like me). I never glitched the incursion. Never glitched hornet. Got my caduceus from farming the ever living shite out of bullet king however.

I have crafted half of my sets so far. 2 tac pieces and 1 striker piece. Got pretty lucky on the rolls. 214 tac chest and 192 others for repeat incursion runs on hard mode.

If they don't add some 204 GS stuff to the BoO vendor I'll be pretty salty because I don't particularly like the DZ nad hate that it is the only way to get 204 weapons right now.

Yeah they will have to lower that gs req or make more 204/240 gear available from the BoO.

Or up fricking drop rates for 204/240


Right now the min req sits at 220. Someone with 3 204 weapons and 6 240 peices will 'only' have a 228 gs.


I see so many people die, including myself, to the cleaner heavies and sweepers in the dz it's crazy. Also , the cleaner engineer with a wrench icon, has a shotgun that will 1 shot if you get close. Along with an annoying turret.

The elite cleaner grenadier has a tear gas grenade that is basically invisible, and deadly.

Would be a lot of fun. Broadway emporium was awesome

They are really the only enemy that doesn't give a shite about what cover you are behind. The flame thrower is high damage and the dot lingers like a bad party guest.

The best way to deal is to move the frick away as fast as possible and aim for the tanks.

That is my build, support station with reload perk and smart cover. No cool down at all, I'm over 30k on skill.
