That is for the premium though I thought. Can you get the map pack without getting the premium?

i think the decline in gaming, especially with the people on this board, is because this gen is starting to wear itself out. cod isn't the only thing getting rehashed. it's every other blockbuster title. battlefield, god of war, gears of war, mass effect, madden, ncaa, etc. it's the same thing over and over with little to no improvements. the time has come for next gen and then we'll get back the way things were. believe me.

Some of my E-Frans don't even play video games anymore. Some of the guys who went harduh haven't been online in 60 days +. Its more than shite games.
Getting old and having 99 bitch problems helps alot.

The genre split has been cataclysmic though. Dudes who played shooter after shooter now mindlessly build shite in a virtual 16 bit world.
A heterosexual few of us still shoot people in the face and tbag fallen douche bag enemies.

Well there's always irl and Facebook post to keep us together.

Same price as usual then. I'm going to hold off on getting the Premium until I see that it will be better than the abomination that was COD Elite. I was mainly just wondering if I could even get the map packs with out the Premium right now or have to wait until a time. Guess I will see next week.

There needs to be one good game that comes out that everyone plays consistently.

MW3 absolutely killed the COD community I played with.

I like the exploring and mining and trying not to die when near the bottom and then trying to find my way out. The building can be fun. I have definitely enjoyed it and well worth if for $20. To each their own though. I'm starting to get bored with it though so may wait for the next update to get back into it if I can. I'll be coming back to BF this week and weekend since I downloaded the patch last night.

If I'm going to compare Premium to Elite, I'll just say that Battlelog is EA's answer to CoD's Elite, right? I think Battlelog is legit. It works flawlessly every time I jump on it.

Premium gives a slight discount and a few extra things over the life of the game that non Premium players wouldn't get. If you plan on buying everything DICE releases for BF3, it makes sense. You get two weeks early access to DLC, too. I guess that just means you get to beta test the server stability.
