10 bucks says someone will get blown out when you all actually finish lol. When that happens to me it always ends up being a lopsided game.

Rebounded well from my week 1 loss. Beat the crap out of Ole Miss 56-27 (2 of their TDs were garbage time TDs vs my 2nd string). It was the Marcus Lattimore show. His stats: 317 total yards and 5 TDs.

User Matchup of the Week: #3 Stanford @ #7 Boise State
Nino and I played a tight game until the 4th, when all hell broke loose for Stanford. Fumbled punt returns for TDs, shotty coverage by DBs, and Andrew Luck pulling a vintage Jarett Lee led to a 28 point 4th quarter explosion for Boise. Things had started out so promising too, with Stanford taking the opening kickoff back for a 107 yard TD return, and then going up 14-3 late in the 2nd quarter. Mid 4th, the score was Stanford 21 - Boise 24. Pressing too hard trying to drive the ball down field late in the game, Luck threw 2 picks, one returned for a TD, sealing Stanfords fate.
Final Score: Stanford 21 - Boise State 38.
Scouting Report on Boise State: Strong defense. Hard to run to the outside due to speedy LBs. Likes to drop a lot of zone coverages, making mid to long passing routes difficult. Short slants and posts are preferable, and running up the middle in power formations allows for some easy yardage. On offense, Boise stutters against strong pressure and man coverage. Watch for vulnerabilities with screens when employing this type of tactic though, as Boise will exploit this weakness. Overall, strong team and strong user. Play conservatively against Boise's defensive backfield.

it was a great game rick. I thought when you were up 14-3 and I had not offense going that I was done. Like you said that punt fumble was the turning point for me.
My game plan going in was zone coverage because of Luck. I thought you were going to be pass heavy and you surprised me with the runs up the middle which I could not stop. Then when I decide to maybe stack the middle you bust the 42yd TD toss play on me.

Yea. I love Stanford for their running game more than anything. I'm looking forward to next year's matchup on my turf. I feel like this year homefield advantage and momentum are more prolific than ever. You did a good job stuffing the run late in the game. When I tried to start passing, nothing was open, and Luck was visibly affected by the homefield advantage and crowd. It started with imperfect throws and ended with squiggily routes and question marks above receivers heads. I'm still sick today from that goddamned punt fumble.
