it isn't, however. there used to be a subscribe function which sent out an email each time a post was made in a subscribed thread. It was a very efficient way to keep up with dynasties, esp. when one could not be at the computer checking.

Ahh ok, I guess that feature either was gone before I really got involved on this site or I just never used it. Would definitely be a useful addition

You didn't ask for my input, but in my experience if someone holds up the dynasty in the first week, they aren't likely to finish their weeks promptly later on. Just my 2 cents.

and this is just bitching, but i liked the old recruiting system where asking about interest took less time than pitching it...its more realistic that way.
who the hell is gonna waste ten mins asking if you can pitch it in the same time

In the long run, you will do better finding out their pitches in the beginning. I like the new system much better. In '10, you could spend a ton of time every week on one recruit, and it made user battles for recruits a nightmare.

It doesn't save you time, but it keeps you from wasting time later on making pitches that the recruit isn't interested in.
