Lol well the qtrs def need to be turned down to 5. Me and dodger attempted to play like 3 games yesterday and both agreed it was way to long. The score was like 28-28 in the second qtr. So just dim it. ill be all over this thread as soon as the talk begins lol

Well see, in the other user games, the scores and stats were about right for a "real" game. For nino and I, had not silliness ensued in the last three minutes, it would have been a 21-24 or a 28-24 ballgame. The accelerated clock feature unnecessarily abbreviates user games. If the overwhelming consensus is to reduce the quarter length, I will, but I wanted to maximize the user v. user experience. Stop being so damn good at the game and ya'll will struggle to score just like everyone else!

7 minute quarters ends up taking about an hour an 15 minutes to play a user game. That is a huge time commitment, and by the end, I don't even care who wins anymore. I'm just ready for the game to be over.

And I'm not trying anymore until I move Thursday. I think part of it has to do with the crappy Internet here. One days it's 50Mbps the next it's .5 :lol

Get off that off-brand internet, yo! I've played about 20 games online, ranked and unranked and dynasty, with no disconnects.

I've been averaging 50-60 minutes. I think nino and I were right at 60 minutes in our game. I can see how rampant scoring would lead to longer game times. Maybe we can drop to 6 minutes next season. I think we can all agree though that 5 minute quarters are waaaay to short.

I'll tell you this much you don't have to worry about me dropping out. I hope thus dynasty lasts this year though!! I've never gotten to play through multiple seasons.
My apartment complex has internet through ATT and its terrible, but I'll be up and running with COX thursday

I have a question for the masses: Do you like or even check it when I set up a fancy first post in the dynasty thread, replete with graphics and stats and records, or do you just check all that shite in game and not even reference the first post?

I like it, but I disagree about 5 min/quarter being too short. Once other players learn how to run an effective offense, scores will skyrocket again.
