i don't have fast enough linebackers to do any of this...i blitz like crazy and take my woes, but i can't sit in man to man to long because the speed of the wrs will kill my cbs.

then just score more than the other team. You knew what you were getting into when you took Vandy. 120 division 1 teams to chose from.

i'm pretty sure i knew what i was getting into or else i wouldn't of chose Vandy. Please refrain from just stating the obvious.

i was merely mentioning my lack of speed on defense is allowing offenses to rack up yards. if i didn't want a challenge i would of chosen a top 25 team.

Week 3- Miami 31 Virginia 21

even though Marve threw 5...yes, count them 5 INTs i still managed to hold of virginia in a pretty ugly game to the end. my run defense is nasty but as i remarked before the db's are just not that good and i get killed through the air

no one on my team will win the heisman or any major position award. not even close, but i see a trip to the orange bowl at the end of the year for this team.

on a side note...how do yall do recruiting...ive played many seasons and gotten many 5 star commits but y are the recruiting borads so large? u cant possibly fill it with caliber players and spend enough time with all of them

cene, you might want to run alot of nickel. Find whoever your best CB is at man to man (other than starters) and put him in as your third corner. I do that regardless of his overall rating. It helps to free up your backers to blitz. Don't worry about having slow linebackers. Blitz them to free up your ends. I found one defense and I literally run it on every down against the computer. The computer doesn't adjust. You might give up some points, but all you need is one stop and you win the game. I wouldn't worry though. The teams in the SEC will put up at least a few points on anybody. You should be fine.

That's hillarious!! I hate them too, but for a video game, they aren't that bad.

FSU is actually the best unranked team in the game.

I don't think the recruiting board is that large. You don't have to fill it up if you don't want either. Do you pay attention to the top schools info screen? If you're way ahead of the next top school then you don't need to spend nearly as much time as if you're number 3 or 4 on the list. Once I started doing this I found I had a lot more time for all the recruits.

Yeah, with 3 online dynasties and two of my own, it's hard to keep up with who you have coming when and what positions you really need for what team. Especially now that I two of my dynasties are the same team, lol.

Vanderbilt vs. Louisville

Score: 35 - 21
1st downs: 19 - 11
Total Yards: 321 - 230
rushing: 82 2td - 14 1td
passing: 239 2td - 216 1td
turnovers 3 - 5

Summary:

so although the score seems close it really wasn't. Louisville jumped out to a 14 - 7 lead in the second quarter. After tying the game, i picked off the next pass and took it in for 6. The game was very one sided after. My starting running back went out with a shoulder injury so i may of ran the ball once the entire second half and it cost me three turnovers one taken back 90 yards for louisville's final score.

recruiting is going to suck for me this year. I only have 6 home games, one of them was my first game of the season and one of them I can't get visitors which is my last game against USC. So that is 4 games for me to get visitors. I took a bunch this week and now I only have two games left for visitors so I need to get a lot of recruits ready to take them soon.

I have 3 of my next 4 weeks off

Also I have a moral dilemma. I have a Junior RB who could easily win the heisman and a Senior who is also very good just does not have the speed. Good chance I win the rest of my games except USC and that puts me in A BCS game. So should I sit my Junior and give the senior the carries and try to get him back for another year. I am still not guaranteed that he will stay even if that happens but he will leave if he has a great season.

I'd play the junior sparingly so he doesn't try to leave for the draft.

My schedule sucks too b/c all of my bye weeks are the last 3 weeks of the season. So it'll be much harder to pick up recruits in the middle of the season because they won't have time to visit for a game.

Looks like a down year for FSU. I'm only avereging 96 points per game.

I had one corner with four picks all returned for TDs against CU. Colorado's defense actually isn't that bad. Lots of speed. If it makes yall feel any better, I only have 5 home games.

Instead of going heisman, maybe you could turn the cpu difficulty up some? I am getting a lot of holding penalties called on me, though, so don't mess with that lol.
