Super Mario 3d World/Bowser's Fury (Switch)

I went back like 6-7 pages and didn't see anything about this.
Anyone else playing?
My wife and I have been doing Bowser's Fury together. Bowser Jr. is total Little Brother mode, since you can't take damage and can only help, but the Fury mode and the Giga Cat Bell dynamic is pretty cool.
BF certainly isn't long enough to have warranted its own title, but as a carrot to get 3D World (again), it's not bad.

I have had a blast replaying 3D world. I didn't have kids yet when it originally came out, but have been able to go through it with my 4 year old son. I don't remember some parts being so damn frustrating lol. It does overall feel easier this go around though.
I haven't touched Bowser's Fury yet. He's been all over it.

I’ve been playing it as well. I had forgotten how easy 3D world was. Much easier than the 2D New Super Mario Bros game

Beat the main story of both games. Slowly working through the extra stuff.

Mrs Vox is not a gamer, per se, but she struggles a little with the open world concept. "just tell me where to go next!l

My son has been on the Mario kick lately and we picked up Odyssey him and I have been going through it together and he enjoys it.
He's been watching youtube videos of 3D World/Bowser's Fury and wants to play that next so we will probably pick that up after we do the main story of Odyssey.
He's 6 so hopefully it's something that he can enjoy and play more on his own.

I have it. Not having a linear progression would shatter her interest. Add to the fact that the first time her sword breaks, she'd rage quit on the spot.

I kept playing though...
Maybe she would like the notifications of when a shrine is near?

Not even a little. She does not share my interest in RPGs of any stripe.

Downloaded it for my son this morning and spent a few minutes playing. So far, it seems like a pretty fun game. Of course the last Mario game I played was on the Super Nintendo.

Since you get a limited number of shot at Bowser due to needing to unlock the Giga Bells per # of Cat Shines collected, the Fury rounds can be a little annoying, but if you see it start to rain just as you're about to collect one, you can end the Fury Bowser session early by collecting it during the storm.

Being I was so fond of Super Mario original. I was worried they would gear this new one more for younger kids and babify it.
It looks cool for all ages
possible spoiler alert
