Suggestion for gaming laptop

My son wants a laptop that he can play games on such as Flight Simulator. Any suggestions on a decent laptop that can run games for under $1,000.00
Best Buy has a Dell Intel i7 -12gb ram 256gb solid state drive Intel® UHD Graphics 620 graphics card. On sale thru Sunday for $699.00
I've goggled but the prices are $1500.00 and up.

The Dell G7 is on sale for 999.00. Has a Geforce 1060 graphics card, 128gb ssd, 1tb hard drive.

I just picked up an ASUS FX705 in that price range. It's been a great budget gaming laptop for me at that price point.

I bought an ASUS ROG GX501 with a 1080 in it. The thing is a beast and runs DCS flawlessly.
