Suggest a new game for me to play...PS5

I have been out of the gaming scene for about year, maybe a bit more. Looking for something I can get into and play for a couple hours a day for a few weeks. Not looking for any sports games or call of duty/fortnite/etc.
-I played Witcher 3 and it's probably became my favorite game I've played. I'm usually not into the monsters/dragons type of game, but Witcher being primarily a story about people with the monsters on the side worked for me. Also played Blood and Wine and Heart of Stone DLCs. The wide range of side stories, the occasional monster hunting, Gwent...there was just so much to do that it didn't feel like I was doing the same thing over and over and I loved it. Ended up playing it through a second time making sure that Ciri ended up as a Witcher in the end.
-Red Dead was okay, but the storyline just seemed to drag along much worse than Witcher. The gameplay itself was very fun.
-Was always a fan of the Assassin's Creed series going back to the original, AC2, Brotherhood. Then AC3 sucked, Blag Flag was awesome, and most of the smaller ones like Unity, Rogue, Syndicate didn't quite do it for me. Origins was okay getting into the RPGish game, and was cool to see a new area in Egypt. Odyssey was okay as well. Didn't find the storyline to be as great but the game was beautiful. Valhalla was better than both of those to me...beautiful game, love the time period (possibly my favorite time period/lore that I've tried, and also was a big fan of the Vikings tv series to that helped), but became a bit repetitive after a while. I still prefer the older Ezio AC games. Not ready to try Mirage quite yet. Gonna let the price fall a bit before I try a game that is only supposed to be about 20 hours of play time.
-Played Skyrim some, just couldn't get into it like I did Witcher. Never tried Elden Ring or Dark Souls because I read that they're more painful than relaxing to play. Played GTA5 years ago.
-Never played a God of War game.
-Played one of the star wars games with Cal (whatever the first one was called). It was okay...just extremely repetitive so I never tried the next ones.
I'm not opposed to the games I've named that I haven't played...just looking for something fun that I can get into and relax and play, not something that I'm gonna have to sweat out and get worked up over trying to beat it.

Demon’s Souls. End Thread.
Turn on the “classic” filter in settings.
Seriously get off of here and get your arse to Boletaria.

If you liked Witcher 3's structure you'll really enjoy Cyberpunk. It's the exact same dialogue, story, quest, and progression systems as Witcher 3 but set in a cyberpunk world that is on par with Witcher 3. It was rough at launch but is now an amazing game.
It has a ton of side activities so you can drop in at your leisure, get some solid gameplay in, and drop out and when you have actual time to commit you can play a really interesting story.

If you haven’t played them yet, I highly recommend Horizon: Zero Dawn and its sequel Forbidden West. Both games look and play amazing IMO and are two of my favorite PS4/5 games. I think they’re both free if you have PS+ too!

I'll second what mostly everyone has said.
Cyberpunk is in the Witcher style, but just futuristic.
Ghost of Tsushima is fantastic.
The Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West games are good (although I haven't finished Forbidden West yet).
Ghost/God of War/Horizon are more similar in that they are pretty linear in progression.
I tried Demon Souls. Its not my cup of tea.

God of War and the Horizon games (2 for each) are incredible. Another vote from me for those two.
The Spiderman games are great on PS5. The original was redone for PS5. The Morales game was basically a really long DLC and was very good. And the new one is coming out very soon.
Ghost of Tsushima is another great game with some PS5 upgrades to the original version.

Another good “bang for your buck” recommendation if you haven’t played it is Mass Effect Legendary Edition. I’m not huge into sci-fi but IMO the world in Mass Effect is every bit as good as the Star Wars universe. The Legendary Edition comes with Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3. I haven’t played much of 3 and I know it took some flak for its ending, but 1 and 2 are fantastic!

Forgot about these. I enjoyed both and have Spiderman 2 preordered.
