I liked the farm. There are dirt road paths to all 3 major areas and it takes less than a minute to get to each. I didn't like being in Marshall and having to drive all the way across the map to help a lost survivor just to drive all the way back to the camp. The farm allowed me to be dead center of everything.

I may have to check on that. Marshall is starting to suck. I have a badass truck stop with a shitload of cars tho

Nevermind I'm at Snyder's Trucking Warehouse already and that place is GOAT ... I have my outpost set up there so they blanket the entire western side of Marshall. I never have hordes attack me and I can send my peeps almost free run to get supplies there anytime I want with no fear of them being eaten.
Snyder's Trucking Warehouse IS THE BEST LOCATION I tried McCready's Farm but every five minutes I was being attacked by a zombie horde. There simply isn't enough locations around for you to set up outposts to protect your home. I also didn't like the farm that much because it took forever to go and get supplies.

Marshall has almost unending supply of scavenge areas. The church town is dry and I have no reason to go back. The farm is in the middle but when you dont need to go back to church town who cares?
Truck warehouse is the best location because of its resource proximity and ability to cordon off a safe area with outposts.

Here's a situation: Went to go clean up an infestation not too far from the courthouse. While starting on the infestation my arse gets cornered by not 1, not 2, but 3 fricking hordes. So I call for some swat back up to cover me while I bug out. Those assholes never showed! Luckily I got to a car and ran the frick out of there.

For those that are interested. Apparently first patch didn't do anything, so they fixed that and combined it with the second patch which hopefully will be out in a few days.
