Just beat it. I'm ready to play through again but I want them to patch it up a bit. I downloaded the first one and it seemed to deal with the hordes the most.

Very nice to know. For the longest time I though there had to be a resource left in order to make it an outpost, not realizing I could radio back home anytime. I need to find some houses with "Materials" b/c we blow thru that stuff quick. Food...meds...fuel....I'm good. Ammo and building supplies...FML

I'm in the same boat man. My first outpost apparently had materials and I always wonder why it's picture was different

I think I'm may have to just give up on this game. The mmo style of the game continuing while you're away has pretty much screwed me. Every time I log back on the situation has worsened. If you're gonna advance it while I'm away make it even. Don't use ally resources to where I'm scavenging the entire time each time I play

You can set yourself up pretty well. You'll have to do more scavenging then you probably want. Setting up the outposts to constantly give you resources helps as well.

Real life shite maybe isnt for you. You think that in a game that they have explicitly said is designed to be as close to IRL dayZ as possible is going to call a timeout while you are away?

Set your shite up proper like before you log off. Make some extra runs. Finish some morale missions. Outfit some survivors with some upgraded weapons. If they get jacked while you are gone...so be it.

Did you not read my post? I said maybe this game ultimately isn't for me. I really enjoy it at times but damn...I don't have time to scavenge, boost morale, build some shot, scavenge some more only to come back in their morning and do the whole tho g over again bc all my shite is gone and one of my people died.
It would be great if I was looking for a zombie day training manual. I just wanna play a damn video game for an hour or so

Just wait for the update to come out.
It is what I am doing right now. It will fix the exact thing you are complaining about.
They have sent the update in for cert testing with MS so it should be out within a week or so.

But seriously, since the game and world continue on while I'm away, how come it never contiues with me returning to twice as much materials and 2 new survivors joining my camp? It's always "Hey MJ, while you were gone we used up all the shite and Betty got killed" never "Yo MJ!! We grabbed 80 materials and a badass general contractor and chef joined us while you were gone!"
I'm just saying....even it out
