use the outpost strategy we talked about yesterday of making outpost in 3-4 surrounding buildings.

My safe zone there is as big as the entire old church town

Nothing like outpost traps obliterating hordes on their way to my home base

At first I used them for remote locations but that shite is useless. Set them up around home base and it helps you and your group out.

hell yeah. have your workshop always making silencers. you get 30 shots out a silencer.

i probably use a gun about 25% of zombie kills

cept for maya the women are next to useless.

hence why they get kitchen and yard duty.

I have a second bad arse click, but when I saw that she is also the medical person of the group I stopped using her and filled " big dick" Sam into my rotation.

Is it just me or does this game turn in to a grind?

I like it but damn. Between the offline progression and the jackasses who can't make a simple food run I find myself logging in just to do some housecleaning. Does everyone have food? Supplies? Infestations clear? Etc, etc. I wouldn't mind the offline progression as much if the characters could handle simple tasks while I'm away. Morale, food, ammo, materials, everything is maxed when I log out. Come back 6 hours later and shite hit the fan. Everything is go e and overrun with infestations. Fml

yeah I kinda gotcha. as one poster said if they keep the progression the way it is offline, have an app for smartphones so you can organize the assclowns in your group.

Second, I never, ever, call base for scavengers. pack uo that ruck and hump it yourself. if you have two, drop one and come back and get it. better than losing your idiots to simple runs.

I will only call for a scavenger if I'm Marcus. Bc if not, they ALWAYS send Marcus. I bailed him out a few minutes ago. Otherwise he'd be dead.

Marcus and Israel are my two workhorses. I split time with 3-4 others to build them when one o my two big dogs eventually dies.

poor marcus. This group would be dead without him.

I havent ran past Israel yet, been trying to get the trucker place up and running.

I'll send them out if it is close by. I'm not moving to Marshall until I drain it of supplies. Has anyone done anything with the dinosaur place?

lil tip for those looking for good guns:

On Main Street Marshall there is a 2 story Police Station/Office, about 2 blocks east of the courthouse, it is loaded with good weapons.

In that building I found: 1 revolver, 1 badass pistol, a SWAT team shotgun, and 2 Assault Rifles.

plus a hatchet and machete and a sack of ammo or two.

Im fricking stocked up.

I found all 5 of my missing folks. Including Marcus. Added to 2 new survivors, both good base skills, and am up to 16 people.

Maxed out all my facilities: training area, library, sniping platform, bunkhouse, and storage locker.

Using my OutPost method by making all the surrounding buildings around the warehouse in OutPosts makes my Safe Zone enormous.

My safe zone is now the size of the original town near the church. and there are very few zombies if any walking around in the near vicinity.

Still got all my badass characters: Marcus, Maya, Sam, and Ashton.

But my 4th best character, Cooper, got ripped in half by a "Biggun" who I ran over 5 times and hit with 3 petrol bombs. Kinda pissed me off, fricker should've died long before it came to that.

Cooper was a 4 star everything. And quickly becoming one of my best characters. RIP Coop!

I see your point, but you have to think of how much of a day to day grind a real life apocalypse would be just to survive.

You could never be fully prepared, fully stocked, or keep everyone fully happy.

I think that's what the devs are going for.

You have to pick and choose your battles.

My place is stocked for months ahead of time and have a huge safe zone, but I don't go and clean out infestations or go on special zombie hunts for neighbors. If I lose their trust....Ohh well, I've got my people to care for.

Does anyone know the max amount community members possible?

Also, how do I get my vehicle repaired? My workshop has been upgraded twice now and have the ability to fix the cars

to fix vehicles, leave in parking spot at home for one night.

thats what my homebase says anyway. I usually go on foot and come back in vehicle

yup. I've had 3 like that.

1 - I came back from a side quest to find that Alan, the ex sheriff, killed someone in my community with black fever.

2 - Alan gets black fever. Karma is a bitch. So he got put down by me.

3 - some other rando community guy I never used. He got out down too.

Anyone delayed the decision and them survive?
