Imagine buying an Intel GPU and it's an hour before release with still no driver and the game won't even launch as is. 
Sounds like this engine is garbage and very CPU heavy. Crank down the Crowd Density setting if you're on older CPU's/few cores. Still no word yet on how the 3DV chips do, hopefully good gains for those folks.

DLSS and XeSS were excluded during development because it was an AMD sponsored title. Hopefully both will be added in a post release patch.

This. Like there seems to be some legit complaints, but I'm also sitting here seeing all these open planets in these reviews and thinking of what modders are going to do.

B) I'll support whatever company puts out the best product and technology. Right now that's Nvidia.

-Really good combat.
-Great ship building.
-There's a shitload of planets, but most of them are semi useless (aesthetically different from other similar planets, but no functional difference).
-He likes the main quest more than most other Bethesda games.
-Game has that "just one more hour" effect.
-Locations (of which there are many) feel lived in.
-Game has great scary/horror areas.
-Excellent music/sound.
-Not the best writing/dialogue.
-Major cities can be massive.
I need to get my PC fixed so that I can properly play it (I think that my motherboard is fricked up). Hopefully I'll get it done within the next week.
