re: RE4 reviews?

I’ve read roughly 15 hours. Sounds pretty fair for a well made game

I just made it inside the castle and beat the huge guy with the Wolverine-like spikes in the dungeon.

The game's ok so far. I'm not having as much as RE:7, RE:8, and the RE:2 and RE:3 remakes, though. One issue is that the game spatially does't feel the same. Space has been reduced to provide a more claustrophobic feel. The game is very linear. Not sure that was the right choice for this particular remake.

Are you playing on standard. I found out myself early as someone who usually opts to do (what i consider a normal mans first play through for games) standard difficulty and standard settings.

in re4 and rem4ke it doesnt even approach that. On normal mode more like than anything RE has ever done or ive even seen in standard you feel yourself become the terminator. A thinking, cold, killing methodical machine cold and ruthless and without joy just carrying out commands as they are transmitted.

Hardcore is what someone wanting survival horror should start on

So many bull shite areas. You literally can’t fricking see where your going in some cases which is the most frightening part! Seriously frick this game! It’s trash!

Wow. Sounds like you’re melting. The game is dark where it needs to be to evoke the tone it wants. The village fight and many many after are in broad daylight. Time doesn’t begin shifting to night until around chapter 7ish when you reach the castle and change zones.

And holy shite people the game will have many areas like this later but way way worse. It’s a timed sequence based on a lessened countdown on how many you do actually kill 15 being the max. It wants you to learn when not to fight and where to unload.

All of this is to say nothing if you just watch what speed runners mostly do and sprint through chapters 1-4 as fast as possible fighting absolutely no one since it is immediately mostly pointless, almost every encounter only serving to teach new players something, disregarding their drops. That is if you want to be a fun sucking loser ruining your experience especially the first run

The absolute worst about this shite game is it does not tell you when the AI takes over. You. Literally have to die a thousand times to find out. So frick this game and frick capcom cus it’s all bullshite

I have beaten this game 8 almost 9 fully. Gotten every achievement or record whatever but 1 and thats beating professional on a fresh save file. I assume by your incoherent mumbling you mean the verduga fight? What difficulty are you on and how upgraded is your magnum and shotgun because you arent really supposed to kill him run 1. He drains the frick out all your resources but if you insist trap in the freeze traps then melee snd shoot in face with magnum make sure theyre fully zoom target shots. When thats out of ammo go shotgun. He will still be alive so hope you go good with your knife cuz now you parry everything and knife him back. It is doable i have done it and many others have but its stupid to do so and you get a 30,000 treasure only.

You clearly have absolutely no idea whatsoever how to play this game. and what fricking AI taking over are you talking about? No one ever, "takes over the AI," you are always in full control of Leon. Some few rooms can be a bit rng and based on knowledge of the game but this reeks of another case of you dont understand the game and havent learned shite being in chapter like 12 is the sewers i believe. That is a you problem. You way more often than not can manipulate the AI in your favor assuming you are observant and patient a bit to find shite like raising the cannon early or grenade killing the guy who drops your bridge going for the lion head before he can. Many more examples.

Also really look into the grenade arrow things. That is one of the best weapons in the game. You can trivialize much of what you complain about.

I just wanted to come and shite on this abomination as much as possible. You are as slow as Robocop expected to fend off spider man villains!!! There is nothing fun about this piece of shot. And sicboy can suck it completely
