I think the white nzxt phantom case is sexy. I wish I would have shelled out a little more cash for it

I don't know why but I just like the look. I'm also a big fan of white cases over black. I wish I woul have spent more time picking out my case

Heard that. That's why I'm spending so much time trying to pick the best one for me. It seems like a good case is the best "futureproof" investment you can make in a build. It's kind of a no brainer. Should I buy the absolute minimum I need now for 80 bucks and then do it all over again in 5 years when i am ready to move up or just spend 140-170 dollars once and get a case that can handle everything I could reasonably ever need?
What would you do over on your case?

Something that's not as plain and dull like my antec 300, better cable management, and I'd get something a little more spacious like a full tower (for when I crossfire and want to go liquid cooled)

Paid about $60 for it. I don't look at it often and I don't show chicks the case to get laid. Fancy cases are for when you have too much money and don't care. This one has plenty of ventilation and the one I bought didn't have the PS.

Still not a fan of those fractals? I just liked them because of build quality and the little things that made the case great.
ETA:
I'm selling my 2 GTX 670s and buying a 690. I'm getting weird errors in game when running 5760x1080. The errors I think are driver based due to SLi. So going for the 1 card set up.

Looks like they are probably wide enough for a noctua and deep enough for a 12 inch GPU. I mean have you dealt with one personally? Are they really that good? How can you get awesome noise dampening and airflow in one case?

Yes, my home server is in one.
Very quite with excellent build quality. They use sound dampening material lined inside the case to eliminate noise. Really was impressed with the case. My next build will be another fractal.

I have one of the big Fractals sitting in a box never used, with extra fans if anyone is interested.
Make someone a good deal on it. Too big to ship though. Would have to meet in BR or something.

I might get that off you.
I don't need it, but damn that is a nice case. I love the full tower top exhaust which is ported to the back of the unit. Leaves the top really clean.

That is the one, BUT I think I bought it just before they started putting USB 3.0 on them. I have had this thing for like 8 or 10 months sitting around.
Seriously you can have it and the extra fans I bought for like $75. It is just taking up space.

Currently about to start a themed Pittsburgh Steeler build out of my old CoolerMaster HAF 912. I will be giving it to my 4 and 6 year old step brothers.
So, let me see how much money that ties up before I get that Fractal.
