NCIX, you watch Linus' youtube channel? The guy cracks me up.
EDT:
That looks like a nice deal on a Z77 ASUS board.

That's like PC pron.
So you do photography as you said? The pictures of your rig look like they were taken with a pretty good camera...all artistic, angular, focal points lending themselves to blurry backgrounds
Do you do any video work? Obviously some very graphically intensive work if you need 2 GTX670's in SLI!
Also great cable management, that case is pretty sick.

Thanks man.
Really was my first sleeving job, think it was way easier to manage cables that way.
Yea I do a lot of photography. I shoot a Canon Mark II. Really not much into video, just photography with LightRoom and CS6.

I like how you apologized for poor photo conditions when they look better than any photo I've ever taken

coyote how satisfied are you with the corsair 650d? It looks super nice but is about an 80 dollar increase from the antec 900.
Actually looking pretty hard at Corsair vengence c70 which is about 40 dollars cheaper, offers same style of cable mgmt as yours, enough width for a noctua or silver arrow, just a little less fan power. If I bought the antec I would have to dremel off the side fan mount on the plexi glass to fit a big cooler.

Couldn't ask for any more. I'm a huge fan of brushed aluminium finish and the 650D has that. The only down fall for the 650D is that the front USB 3.0 header doesn't come with a 20pin connector.. lol. You hook it up by plugging it into a back panel USB 3.0 connector or using an ADAPTER.
If you are looking for a case around 100-120, check out Fractal Designs. Simply saying, they are by FAR the highest quality cases I have worked with. They give those 500 buck CaseLabs cases a run.
As for that Vengeance, they also make a sweet camo/military concept one. You can find the review HERE. It is the same case you posted a link to but just comes in an ammo box concept. I really do like those Vengeance series myself.
None the less, you can't go wrong with Corsair.
EDT:
Just watched some more reviews on those Corsair Vengeances. Really nice cases I must say, they have the exact same interior layout as my 650D and a 550D. The Vengeance also has BETTER cable management for the back panel if you look closely they have a valley for cables to run in so you do not have back panel budge. (mine actually has some back panel budge)

I'm throwing the idea back and forth about building/buying a pc and I was just on craigslist just kinda feeling out the local used market and I ran across this. It's new and they want $1500 for it. Seems like an awful lot to me but I'm out of my element. What do you guys think?

No no bro, 1500 is nutts for that system. He is probably just trying to lure in a sucker. Don't even try to low ball for that 8800. You can get a 4xx series GTX for 1/8 that price.
If you want to invest 1500 can get you a top of the line system and 500-600 could get you "good enough" if you don't need peripherals.
Anyone of us can throw you build together. Let us know.

Oh hell yeah. That thing looks like the cadillac of cases. Plenty of room and slots for expandability, water options, huge fans. Love the window and the access to the side panels. If money were no object I would not hesitate.

Really? Those were some of the first ones I looked at. They certainly looked high quality, just kind of plain. What impressed you so much about them? Look like they'd be quiet as all hell. Just picking you brain about them.

Yeah it looked like a happy medium. Only doubt I have about it is a couple negative reviews on sites and forums about the airflow and fan layouts not moving enough air, but I figured with 7 fan positions I could make some freaking air move through it. Probably take out one of the 3.5 cages as well. Also HATE that the window has holes in it. I am going to have to cut some acrylic for sure. Other than that I really like the white. My mobo and gpu accents are gonna be blue so I thought the blue and white would look nice together.
In all, I am having to look at bigger mid towers that I know will accomodate a noctua or silver arrow. I also want the room to do custom water cooling if I so desire. I know the cases are generally built to last so I figure buy something nice, expandable, and easy to build on for this and future builds. I was also considering the antec 1100(stupid holes in the window again ). Heard much about it? Which would yall choose?

that's what I was thinking. Looks like they just threw some higher end shite into it without even thinking about functionality and how well the parts would mesh together.
thanks man, I appreciate. How much do you think I could get into a rig that would run BF3 on mid to high setting with frame rate around 100?
Posted on 8/12/12 at 2:50 pm to brucevilanch
Those parts aren't anywhere close to high end either it's a very low end gaming computer.
If you want to run bf3 at 100 fps you're probably going to have to spend at least $600 in video cards. I have a 7850 and can play it on ultra at about 50 fps. I run skyrim between 50-70 fps. My build (including 2 monitors, mouse and black widow ultimate keyboard) was about $1300

Yeah, they just stuffed it all to the front
An experienced builder buying parts and selling the PCs they build would have some resemblance of cable management.

I don't really care about the graphics. I care more about smoothness. playing on low would be fine with me as long as the game is fluid.

I used to play on high settings at about 30 FPS with a 6870 GPU. Think those go for less than $200 nowadays

It is very refreshing to know I am not the only nerd on tigerdroppings.
I need a new game. Diablo is getting boring and planetside is never coming out. I was thinking of just getting guild wars 2 when it comes out.
And if anyone posting in this thread does not have dual monitors. It is time to get dual monitors.
It is like having a smart phone. You didn't need one but not that you have one you never want to get rid of it. I now have 3 monitors connected to my gtx 680.
