I'm looking forward to seeing more of Second Son (and Uncharted) but a new IP might be nice.

I agree, as gorgeous as infamous looks the first game was average good and I heard the 2nd was more of the same. I know people love the uncharted series but how many can they make before people start hating it?

An unpopular opinion to many but this is why I hope there's more or less a whole new cast of characters for Uncharted. Nathan and the gang are fun but I'd love for them to shake things up a bit in the story department. Besides, Nathan (and company)'s story wraps up nicely in 3.
The fact that the game's title is simply "Uncharted" and not "Uncharted: Drake's such and such" is a possible hint at this. I can hope, at least.

You know, without delving into specifics I'm going to say making another Uncharted game with Nathan as the main protagonist actually betrays and cheapens a lot of the theme's they focused on in 3 regarding getting older and the consequences on him and the people he cares about by the life choices he makes.
I'm aware that money > story consistency for Sony shareholders, so Naughty Dog may have simply been told to "make another Uncharted game but with better graphics," but I hope they are able to do something unexpected.

Naughty dog also said they don't want to make a last of us sequel but people keep predicting that they will be told to do so. Some things are just out of their control.

I thought the new Uncharted was with a new protagonist. I assumed it was him speaking over the trailer. Highly doubt Drake returns as main character.

I actually thought the same thing but then people on Reddit started talking about how they had no interest in an Uncharted game without Nathan and anyone stating they were hoping for a new character was down voted. I started thinking maybe I was crazy for hoping they were going in a new direction.
This is an interesting approach by Sony for PS4, though. Killzone, Infamous, and possibly Uncharted are all games in existing franchises but they follow a new main character. It seems like a compromise between starting a whole new IP and churning out sequels. I wonder if a new God of War game might follow someone else other than Kratos. That's hard to imagine, though.

I think it might be cool if it included an older, grizzled Nathan, filling in the role Sully played for Nathan but for a new protagonist.
(MGS2 spoiler)
This, of course, runs the risk of being another Metal Gear Solid 2 situation where the player is controlling a less cool character and is wishing they were playing as Snake the entire time.

Does anyone have the actual numbers on xbox live accounts vs ps3 accounts? I'm curious as to what the split was in players per system prior to the xbone and ps4.
