It is at least much more useful than it used to be. I think the games might have something to do with it because everything in snap seems be moving much slower than it usually does when I'm playing Halo. Might explain the issue with achievements popping.

Some people will say exclusives determine what console to get, but the PS4 does perform better on every multi platform game not named AC: Unity. They aren't big differences, sure, but when you aren't terribly interested in either side's exclusives the higher quality 3rd party games becomes a factor.
PS4 also has the next From Soft game (Bloodborne). I love the Souls series, so that's a compelling enough argument for me. I don't care about The Order: 1886 or Uncharted 4.

IMO Xbox has awesome exclusives. Sunset was a really fun game. Halo will be awesome sometime.
I want to play uncharted but that's about it for ps4.

I enjoy Destiny and play it quite a bit, but Bungie and Destiny most certainly don't have their shite together. There may not be many mechanical problems with the game, but there is a lot of stuff missing.

Halo isn't any more dead/alive now than when Bungie dropped it. Well I guess that depends on what aspect you are talking about. From a Hype standpoint, 343 has most definitely revived the Halo series. From an execution standpoint they have dropped the ball with this launch. The game will be up an fully operational soon enough tho.
